Loxit named AV & IT Technology Company of the Year

Leading publication Business and Industry Today has named Loxit as its AV & IT Technology Company of the Year. Originally featured as Company of the Month earlier in the year, the magazine’s editorial team were so impressed by Loxit’s products and ethos, that they went on to receive the overall AV & IT Technology Company of the Year accolade.

Loxit received the award because of its “incredible and innovative AV and IT secure mount and management systems” as well as its focus on customer service and its ability to create bespoke solutions. Innovations such as the HiveTM desking solution, Hi-LOTM electric height adjustable mounts, and mobile device security and management tools showcased the company’s design and manufacturing credentials, which also impressed the Business and Industry Today team.

John Whittle, director at Loxit, said: “It’s great to have our hard work recognised. Individually we often receive good feedback from our customers, which is great, but there’s something special about external bodies recognising what we’re doing. It’s great for the whole team, everyone is passionate about what they do, working together, supporting one another, it’s that collective delivery that has helped us achieve this kind of recognition. We do it because we love it, but when that is formally acknowledged, it’s really nice.”

Create custom solutions with Loxit’s product configurator

It is now possible to configure HiveTM and Hi-Lo® workspaces to your exact requirements thanks to the new product configurator from Loxit.

The simple-to-use tool allows you to personalise a number of options, including size, shape and finish.

HiveTM desks combine screen, device management, charging and security technologies in one central location creating a flexible, collaborative desking solution. With the HiveTM configurator, it is possible to choose the size of desk – accommodating 3, 5 or 7 people – as well as the shape – tapered rectangular or halo – and colour – white, grey or beech, whichever works best in your environment. If the desks will be used to share content directly to a screen, an AV faceplate can be included on the front of the screen mount for easy access. Finally, users have the choice of a UK or Schuko power module, or neither if this is not needed. Once you’ve made your choices, you simply login to see prices and make the order.

Similarly, for the Hi-Lo® Workspace™, which offers 600mm of vertical travel to accommodate everyone from young students to adults, the first step is to decide on the size and shape of your preferred solution. Here options vary between 1200mm and 1600mm in corner units, scalloped and straight designs. It is also possible to specify if you require any storage options, with 8U and 12U cabinets available. Optional extras include a vanity panel and cable dump tray.

John Whittle, director at Loxit, said: “Creating bespoke solutions is a key part of what we do, and with our workspaces being used in a wide variety of different environments, we feel our new product configurator will make it easier than ever for customers to see all the options available and design a solution that perfectly suits their environment.”
