The Active Learning Cabinet stores the AV equipment required to provide the learning environment whilst facilitating a barrier free and open learning environment encouraging deeper involvement of the learners.

This Active Learning approach allows the teacher to facilitate learning through learner focussed sessions, improving the learner’s analysis and ability to think more deeply about the subject, resulting in better absorption of theories and information.

Producing better learning outcomes where students are motivated, able to build knowledge and understanding through collaborative discussions with peer groups and have a higher retention of information.

Slimline Wall Mounted Active Learning Cabinet.

Unobtrusive design.

Includes 1 x US 2 gang cut out and 1 x UK single gang cut out with blanking plate to cover most configurations.

Does not include touch panels or AV face plates – shown for illustration.

Custom configuration available.

Large 500mm x 400mm removable AV mount tray allows AV equipment to be mounted to the tray first then fixed into place in the cabinet.

Max depth of AV equipment mounted on the AV mount tray is 85mm allowing good space to mount a range of peripherals inside the Active Learning Cabinet.

Lockable door.

Highly ventilated to ensure equipment does not overheat.

Grommet allows cables to exit via the top and bottom of the cabinet.

Easy single handed installation with multiple wall fixing points.

Compatible with Loxit’s Slimline Fixed Height Wall to Floor Mount 8920.

Application

Suitable for rooms employing an Active Learning approach to learning.

Able to house AV equipment including power, the Active Learning Cabinet neatly and unobtrusively hides away AV equipment to allow the focus of learning to reside within the room.
