Attending AV Tech Day Edinburgh

What is AV TECH day?

The event is hosted by Mediascape, Scotland’s leading full-service AV specialist, in partnership with Erskine Stewart’s Melville School (ESMS).

This years conference builds on the success of Aberdeen Tech Day (November 2023). AV TECH day brought together industry leaders and innovators from a variety of sectors to explore the current and emerging trends in immersive AV, AI-powered solutions, and cyber security.

A shared resource packed with features

A mobile solution  – wheeled into position and raised to the perfect height, shared between rooms, easily relocated and stored.

Video Conference Camera Shelf and Integrated Sound bar mount – these are interchangeable, allowing either to be mounted above or below the screen.

Internal Power Management – is fully integrated as standard, via an internal 4 way power strip that combines 2 IEC outlets, to power the screen
and peripherals from just one mains input cable.

External AV Connectivity – connections come via 2x HDMI, 2x USB, 2x RJ45 – all found within the main body of the mount.

Built-in anti-collision technology – the motor cuts out and reverses by 30mm and powers off when an obstruction is detected.

We are delighted to announce that we will be attending ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) this year.

 

 

Every year ISE brings audiovisual and integration professionals from around the world to a central location, Barcelona,  in search of knowledge, inspiration and collaboration. This is one of the world’s largest exhibitions of its kind, a dynamic platform for innovation, networking and education.

 

 

This year’s ISE featured an impressive selection of technologies and solutions spanning audio, video, control systems, lighting and more. From established industry names to promising start-ups, with a diverse range of products and services designed to enhance integration and user experience.

 

Key themes of ISE 2024

The key themes of the event included an increased focus on immersive experiences, the convergence of AV and IT technologies, sustainability initiatives and the growing awareness/significance of user-centric design. All things that we are passionate about at Loxit, it was a great opportunity to meet, in-person, with other professionals and explore how we can work together to improve and enhance education, healthcare and working spaces.

There was, of course, some incredible sights and sounds on display, from screen and projection technologies, immersive audio solutions, interactive systems and integrated smart controls. All aimed at enhancing engagement and productivity.

 

ISE speakers and learning

ISE 2024 featured an extensive line-up of seminars, workshops and panel discussions, offering invaluable insights into the latest trends, challenges and opportunities that are shaping the industry. The topics ranged from the future of workplace collaboration to the impact of AI (artificial intelligence) on AV systems. The spirit of collaboration and innovation remains ever present at ISE, with professionals from around the globe coming together to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and chart the course for the future.

With an unparalleled showcase of innovation, collaboration and expertise, ISE 2024 reaffirmed its status as a premier destination for industry professionals seeking to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving world of integrated AV and I.T systems.
